Illustration and Art by Mark Toner Now Available! Tales of the Beachcomber Volume 1 A new print media comic book is out now. It features Beachcomber comics previously only available in the pages of Shoreline of Infinity, Scotland's award winning science fiction magazine. Volume 1 features four stories. "Who Is Mentor?" introduces Gail Scott, Space Pilot, who was previously a web comic heroine and who gave her title to this comics publication empire. "Mutable Martians" explains the huge popularity of Martians in the history of science fiction and why they have all but disappeared from the genre. "Where Have All The Time Machines Gone?" will have you wondering if what you remember as history today is the same as what you remembered as history yesterday. Drawing Stories Returns to the Stove

Drawing Stories returned to the Stove Cafe this evening and Mark and Steve welcomed a keen group of illustrators. They learned some basic drawing skills that will aid sequential art projects and started into drawing props for stories. You can still join the class for the remaining lessons by coming along to the Stove on a Wednesday night at 7pm. Discounts now apply.

Shoreline of Infinity wins British Fantasy Society Award 2018 for best magazine

This was our first nomination, and we were up against some pretty tough competition; we are, as you can imagine, dead chuffed. Shoreline of Infinity Science Fiction Magazine was launched in July 2015 and to win the award for Britain’s best science fiction/fantasy magazine in such a short time is an honour indeed. We’re based in Edinburgh, but the magazine is read world-wide and it’s a great privilege to present Scotland at its finest in genre fiction. Shoreline of Infinity is truly international: we’re proud to showcase not only Scottish creative talent, but also writers and artists from all over the world.
